PERSIST + SISTERHOOD: The foundation stones for this group of women, convened by Susan Worley in this time when solace and sisterhood are much needed but may not be enough. Resistance, persistence, friendly spreading of awareness, and action are all needed. Both individual and collective actions of all varieties are required if we are to successfully climb the hill to full rejection of all that has gripped our country for many years. Each day we think we have reached a new peak among the mountains of outrageous acts to steal our lives, our culture, our rights, our accomplishments. Each day the excesses and disgraceful crimes are worse than we could imagine.
